ErasmusDays2023_European Solidarity Corps and Youth Entrepreneurship for democratic and resilient generations

In the frame of ErasmusDays 2023, Edremit Municipality organised an informative event opened to the students of the local Vocational School for Higher Education of Balikesir University. Students from different faculties and branches participated in the event dedicated to the dissemination of the European Solidarity Corps and Erasmus + projects coordinated by Edremit Municipality, operating as Sending Organisation accredited by the Turkish National Agency. During the meeting students had the opportunity to learn how to take part in the ESC programme (enrolment, submission, preparation of the CV, motivational letter, Youth Pass, European Youth Portal) with the involving support of videos recorded by our Volunteers abroad. Developing local democracy means also to create equal opportunities for all our citizens in terms of participation but also in terms of knowledge and capacities. In this case, students coming from different backgrounds and different rural areas had the opportunity to access to new opportunities of self development, travel and learning abroad promoted and offered by the European Commission.
