Throughout 2023, the Lviv City Council organized a series of events as part of the European Local Democracy Week: Educational lectures for students titled "Local communities:
putting democratic resilience at the forefront in Wartime"; Open Door Days in Community Offices; Interactive event "UChange: Community" in partnership with the Council of Europe Project "Strengthening the resilience of democratic processes through civic participation in times of war"; Simulation educational event "Democratic Chessboard," organized in collaboration with the Department of Political Science at Ivan Franko National University; an event for the active youth of the Lviv community called "hromada Leva"; a series of dialogue seminars titled "Active Residents - the Key to Community Development." In total, these events engaged around 1000 participants, including active youth, schoolchildren, students, and concerned residents of Lviv and neighboring communities.
