VALUE TO MY CITY II: In the second year of the project, field activities took place only in Izmir.

Value My City Project is a rights-based youth project. The general aim of the project is for young people to play an active role in creating an innovative, inclusive and needs-based urban policy; The aim is for young people and local governments to develop the practice of working together. During the project period: (1) 6 project ideas produced by young people living in Izmir to address problems that violate the right to the city were supported with small grants; (2) Young people who carry out urban projects are empowered with a rights-based education designed with peer methodology and non-formal education methods, including participation, local governance and local project production; (3) The Youth Indicator Set created for Local Governments was created to measure the relationship of local governments with young people; (4) Workshops were held to disseminate the Value for My City Civilian Monitoring Model; (5) A podcast series has been prepared in the context of Youth and the Right to the City.
