Informative webinar on the topic of participation of cities and municipalities in the European Week of Local Democracy 2021 An informative webinar on the topic of participation of cities and municipalities in the European Week of Local Democracy was held on June 28, 2021 for 27 representatives of cities and municipalities. During the webinar, representatives of the SCTM: Aleksandra Vukmirovic, Head of Unit for EU Integration and International Cooperation, Jana Pavlovic, Environmental Advisor, Slobodan Milivojevic, EU Integration Advisor and Bosko Nenadovic, International Cooperation Advisor, presented several topics to the participants, such as : the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities, the purpose of the ELDW, objectives and key documents. Then the general topics and results of previous editions of ELDW were also presented. Participants discussed 2021 ELDW edition and general topics and subtopics for 2021/22, forms of promotion, as well as participants, users, stakeholders and target groups of activities. The ELDW Internet platform was explained in detail. On the other hand, forms of possible activities and examples of good practice of previous editions of ELDW were presented, in order to inspire municipalities in terms of selecting and creating their own activities for 2021. The promotional material provided by the SCTM for the first 10 registered municipalities was also presented, in the form of posters, bags, eco-pencils and notebooks, as well as posters for all municipalities and cities. Also, the participants were introduced to all the steps in the process of registration of activities, as well as other important technical issues. The role of SCTM as the national coordinator of ELDW was presented. Finally, participants were shown the possibility of applying for ELDW partner status, as well as the criteria for candidacy.
