The community is constantly working to increase the number of international partners and friends of Fastiv. On 22 August, on the eve of Ukraine's biggest national holiday - Independence Day, the cities of Fastiv (Ukraine) and Swanley (United Kingdom) signed a cooperation and twinning agreement in an online ceremony.
The Mayor of Swanley, Michael Horwood, came to Fastiv on a friendly visit. And on 12 October, a live signing ceremony was held as part of the European Local Democracy Week.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the city council deputy corps, representatives of the youth council and public council of the city, and active citizens. Everyone had the opportunity to meet the Mayor of the British City and ask questions about future cooperation.
