Discussion of the concept of reconstruction of the central park of the city

In order to meet the cultural needs of citizens, spiritual development and organisation of meaningful leisure for guests and residents of the city, preservation of the garden and park environment, improvement of the landscape architecture of the city, the concept of development and reconstruction of the Fastiv European Park is being developed in Fastiv. Since February 2023, proposals for the concept development project have been accepted from all interested parties. concept from everyone. On 9 October 2023, the European Local Democracy Week in Fastiv community started with the launch of a questionnaire on the reconstruction of the European Park. The park is planned to create a space for physical and psycho-emotional recovery of citizens, providing additional opportunities for relaxation, recreation, socialisation, support, etc. As part of the European Local Democracy Week, on 12 October 2023, a discussion of the park's reconstruction project took place in the European Park. The youth of Fastiv - the leaders of student self-government - presented their ideas and put them up for discussion. The discussion was fierce and took place in two languages - Ukrainian and English, so the guest of Fastiv, the Mayor of Swanley, Mr Michael Horwood, joined the discussion. He noted that the youth of Fastiv are very active and enthusiastic. He shared his experience of implementing similar projects in the UK.
