« City municipality of Vracar, Belgrade » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner city »

Municipality of Vracar is one out of 17 municipalities of City of Belgrade. The Municipality of Vracar covers an area of 292 hectares, which is inhabited by a population of 69,680. It is the smallest municipality in Serbia, but the most densely populated. Vracar municipality, one of the three central municipalities of Belgrade,has significant touristic potential: Church of Saint Sava, Public library of Serbia, Nikola Tesla museum, Belgrade drama theater, etc.
