THE EARTHQUAKE SOLIDARITY BAZAAR

A Solidarity Bazaar was established in Kadıköy by Kadıköy Municipality in order to support the farmers and women’s cooperatives affected by the earthquake that took place on February 6th. Local products grown and produced by local producers affected by the earthquake are sold in the bazaar. In the bazaar opened every weekend since March 18,the products of the farmers and women’s cooperatives who harvested their products from their fields before the earthquake are offered for sale at the Solidarity Bazaar establishes in the municipal garden and the income obtained is given to the earthquake survivor farmers and cooperative member women. The people of Kadıköy show great interest in the bazaar.Local products such as apricots,oranges,lemons,jams,olive oil and spices are offered for sale in the bazaar. With the Solidarity Bazaar ,we have taken the solidarity network we have established with region since the first day one step further.
