The Municipality of Centar organized activities within the European Mobility Week from September 16 to 22.

During the past two months, the Municipality of Centar organized meetings with the citizens, entitled Budget forums in the communities, where the realized activities were presented and the problems of the citizens in the urban communities were discussed. At the forums, organized in the halls of primary schools, different target groups participated, proposing ideas and projects with the theme (Green municipality), ecology and environment. The proposals and problems are recorded by the municipal services, in order to apply their solution in order to improve the local policies for environmental protection and sustainable development, which will be achieved through the improvement of the municipality's capacities and better planning of environmental activities at the local level. The solutions will promote a good governance solution in order to achieve sustainable development, improved energy efficiency and environmental protection. Environmental actions were carried out in primary schools to clean and arrange schoolyards, where students, teachers, as well as parents, residents of the urban community participated. In this way, the residents' concern for the environment, to keep it clean and tidy, is promoted.
