« Commune of Forest » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner city »
Forest is one of 19 municipalities in the Brussels-Capital Region. With a rich diversity of neighbourhoods bringing together some 57,000 residents, a Forest Citizens' Council (CCF - in French) was set up in 2021.
