« Resilience.Earth » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
We are a non-profit cooperative of 14 rural community-based workers, researchers and educators. We work primarily with community groups and local governments, accompanying them in participatory processes to regenerate local governance systems, making them more equitable, adaptive and descentralised. We specialise in complexity management, regenerative governance and "edge work" - working at and with the "margins", be they vulnerable communities, rural regions or issues that are too often ignored as they are considered too complex. Since 2016, we have worked with over 50 local governments and public administration departments as well as over 80 community organisations, delivering nearly 400 projects.
