Kyiv is the capital and largest city of Ukraine, located in the north central part of the country on the Dnipro River. Kyiv is Europe's 6th largest city with a young, highly-skilled population and over 1 million visitors every year. The city of Kyiv is an important industrial, scientific, educational, and cultural centre of Eastern Europe. It is the home of many high-tech industries, higher education institutions and world-famous historical landmarks. The city has an extensive infrastructure and highly developed system of public transport, including the Kyiv Metro. Two international airports connect the city with major cities across all continents
