CAMP GOES... RECYCLING!
Summer Camp, Municipality of Alimos

In collaboration with the Region of Attica, an experiential, recreational activity for the children of the "Summer in the City" program (summer creative activity) of our Municipality, was organized at the 2nd & 7th Primary School. More than 150 children had the opportunity to learn more about recycling and its benefits for the environment and people. Τhe students of Alimos separated the bins according to color, they learned what we put in each bin and why we do it that way, they actually recycled! In that way the new generation acquires environmental awareness and sensitivity to good practices in their daily lives. The effort also concerns the "adults": we change habits, protect the environment, enliven our neighborhoods!
