AHMETBEY MUNICIPALITY HOSTED BULGARIA ELECTIONS.

Bulgarian citizens living in Ahmetbey voted in the Bulgarian parliamentary elections held on 04 April 2021 - 11 July 2021 and 14 November 2021; and, in the Bulgarian Presidential elections held on 14-21 November 2021. Bulgarian citizens of some support given by Ahmetbey Municipality in the Bulgarian Parliamentary and Presidental election. Nearly 400 Bulgarian citizens live in the city of Ahmetbey. for Bulgarian citizens to vote in the city of Ahmetbey without going to Bulgaria, the necessary official meetings were held with the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and permissions obtained for the citizens to vote in the city of Ahmetbey. During the election day, the following services were provided free of price by the Ahmetbey Municipality to the citizens who will vote; - Interurban and intracity transportation services, - Meals and drinks and various treats, - Special health personnel were appointed by taking additional caution so that disabled, sick, elderly Bulgarian citizens could vote comfortably. - translation services were provided to Bulgarian citizens to prepare documents in different languages. - immigrant associations and Ahmetbey twin town of Stambolova Municipality in Bulgaria with cooperation free public transportation services were organized for citizens who want to vote in Bulgaria. - Press releases, billboards, posters, flyers giving information about the election day and place were prepared to increase participation in the elections and to enable citizens to exercise their democratic rights. - The turnout in the 3 repeated Bulgaria Elections was over 80% in Ahmetbey.
