Would you like to gift an ear?

The project aims to achieve two goals. One the one hand, collecting and recycling wasted vegetable oils that will cause environmental pollution and damage to natural resources. On the other hand, it is aimed for hearing-impaired children to play an active role in the society by providing medical supplies. When vegetable waste oils are poured into the sink, they cause sticking into the sewer pipe and narrowing the pipe over time. Therefore, Waste oils spilled into the sewer hold other wastes and cause the sewer system to become unusable. Waste vegetable oils reaching rivers, lakes and seas due to mixing with groundwater; so they harm birds, fish and other living species. For these reasons, it would be better to collect separately and recycle. Within the scope of the project, it is decided to collect the waste vegetable oils separately throughout Beykoz, to pass the hearing screening tests of the children who have sensory problems and to supply the devices to those who need hearing aids. Thanks to the project, 12 citizens from Beykoz awarded with the devices and this project would open new doors in their silent worlds.
