Buca Municipality Forest Fire Aid Activities

As an example of good practice, operationalizing urban resilience to build resilient communities; On a voluntary basis, the Search and Rescue Unit (BUCAKUT) established within our Municipality, to help the forest fire that occurred in Antalya province, as a 15-person volunteer Search and Rescue team, 2 Catering vehicles, 1 service vehicle and Animal ambulance, 1 person Veterinarian, 1 Person Veterinary Technician. and 1 Animal ambulance driver. In a coordinated manner from the Manavgat assembly area, catering vehicles and the rescue team were directed to Akseki and Gündo?mu? districts of K?z?lay and continued their work there. With the guidance of the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, the animals in the burned villages were first aided by the animal ambulance, and the villagers were assisted in the safe evacuation of the villagers with our service vehicle.
