Cooperation Protocol with AIESEC

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Izmir branch of AIESEC, the world's largest youth organization, which offers social responsibility and professional internship opportunities for university students and graduates, and brings together companies and non-governmental organizations with young talents from different countries, and Bucamar, a subsidiary of Buca Municipality. 21 young exchange participants, who came to Buca from Tunisia, Italy, Portugal, Ukraine, and Russia and will participate in various programs for 6 weeks, attended the vineyard held at the Buca Municipality Vineyard House. In the event attended by President Erhan K?l?ç, young people harvested Buca's famous speckled sultani grapes. Stating that the Buca Municipality Vineyard House functions like a school, K?l?ç said, “Agricultural activities have started to evolve towards a seriously challenging point due to global warming. But we need to feed the world population in a healthy way. For this, municipalities and states have a serious responsibility. As a municipality, our main goal is to direct these agricultural lands to such agricultural activities without drowning them in concrete. This is a geography that still has water and can still be cultivated. We put our hand under the stone in order to show this," he said.
