“We Are Clearing Our Forests” Event

Continuing to raise awareness about the risk of fire in the summer months when hot and windy weather prevails, our municipality carried out garbage cleaning in the forest area together with the citizens. Under the leadership of Buca Municipality's Environmental Protection and Control, Cleaning Works, and Municipal Police Departments, the "We Clean Our Forests" event was organized with the members of Buca People's Social Solidarity and environmental volunteers. In the event, which started at the entrance of Y?ld?zlar District in the Kaynaklar region, which is the city's oxygen source, the garbage and waste left in the forest area were transported to the garbage and waste sorting trucks one by one. Buca Mayor K?l?ç, who called on citizens to be sensitive to the environment, said, “It is our duty to be sensitive to the environment and to protect the environment. We must be more careful so that our future does not become ashes. I expect all my fellow countrymen to show sensitivity to this issue," he said.
