Ensuring citizen participation through ideas and projects in “Climate Action (SDG-13)”, “Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG-11)” With the motto "BUCA IS OUR", as the local government, we aim to create a resilient city by localizing the Sustainable Development Goals with the participation of all our stakeholders living in our district and by producing solutions to our problems by using the collective mind. To provide practical training to the youth living in Buca district that will increase their vital skills, to raise awareness about social entrepreneurship, to raise environmental awareness and to raise awareness of all vulnerable groups living in Buca. (Women, youth, children, the disabled, the elderly, those who cannot participate in employment, etc.). Established Sub-Volunteer Working Groups; relevant parliamentary subcommittee, city council representatives, Volunteer Youth and Buca Municipality related directorates. • The volunteer becomes a member by choosing the subgroup they want to work with in the Voluntary Participation Platform. (Agriculture, Climate, Children, Youth, Gender Equality, Disabled, City Planning) •Each volunteer subgroup works with a facilitator consultant from the Buca Municipality Sustainability office. •Each team consists of 1 consultant/facilitator, 1 coordinator, 1 reporter and team members. •Working systematic; It takes place at least twice a month on the days, places and times that the team members will decide together. •Volunteer subgroups work on a project basis to raise awareness, advocacy and technical support. •As part of the GLORE Network Membership, Antalya EU Association, EU project for organizations working with volunteers (public, NGO, student clubs, etc.), volunteers are given the chance to certify what they have gained through this experience. Thus, it makes their experiences more visible. The "Glore Network", which includes institutions from Latin America, Europe and Turkey, gives the certification. The established certification platform also includes an e-learning system with videos on 25 social skills. The technical training required for full membership to the Glore network has been completed.
