Protocol between Büyükçekmece and Gelsenkirchen Municipalities on Common Action on Combating Climate Change
Purpose of the Protocol is to implement projects in the field of climate change in line with programs such as the Sustainable Development Goals, the Global Green New Deal and the European Green Consensus. Büyükçekmece and Gelsenkirchen Municipalities, being aware of the urgency of localizing these targets and the role of cities in combating climate change, expressed their desire to act jointly on this issue with this protocol. The parties will carry out experience sharing, expert exchange programs and various projects in order to develop cooperation in the fields of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Combating the Climate Crisis and Its Effects, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Zero Waste and Recycling.
