Garden Birds Hour

Observing birds in the neighborhood, taking part in a nationwide campaign and winning great prizes in the process - the “Garden Birds Hour" combines all of this. Every year in May, the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) calls on people to note and report birds. We invite you to count the birds on the NABU meadow orchard in Hilbersdorf together with two experts. Equipped with binoculars and identification literature, we walk across the meadow and note all the birds seen. We start in the early morning, when the birds are looking for something to eat.
