From Waste to Art

Büyükçekmece Municipality declared 2022 as the "Year of Ecology" to draw attention to the environmental problem, raises the awareness of children by preparing products from recyclable materials. Within the scope of the projects and studies, Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty Painting Department curator, Mimar Sinan University Fine Arts Faculty Stage Decoration and Costume Design Department curator, Fine Arts instructors and children made fruits and vegetables from newsprint. Children's special works will decorate the Caravanserai as a decoration during the Domestic Goods Week.
