The Book Fair organised by the Municipality of Edremit became a traditional appointment in the frame of the activities of the European Local Democracy Week. The Book Fair is always preceded by a press release made by the Mayor of Edremit, inviting all the population to take part to the fair and to the different panels, discussions and round table organised in the frame of the fair. The main topic of the ELDW 2022, concerning environment protection were developed at local level with a in depth discussion about the protection of the local olive trees which represent a very important economic but also cultural heritage and value of our territory. The fair saw the participation of more that 2000 visitors and participants.
