RUSE

« RUSE » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner city »

Takes part in the ELDW with the aim of:

Better involve citizens in public life and interacte with local authorities

Test the citizens’ acquaintance with the participatory tools and trust in local/regional institutions

Improve social cohesion and respect of the others in the community

Ruse Municipality is located in Ruse Province, in the Central-North area of Bulgaria, along the right bank of the Danube river. Apart from the cultural heritage of the main city, the area is best known for the Danube bridge, which is the only bridge over the Danube in Bulgaria. The main roads cross the municipality, connecting the centre of the province of Ruse with the cities of Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Razgrad et Silistra.
