The RIGHTS project within the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society aims to establish local and regional children’s councils to enable child participation within each community. For this to be a success, it is necessary for all council members and staff to be aware of child participation as a fundamental right. The following training sessions will train council members and staff in child participation and safeguarding, to ensure a smooth running of the children’s councils once they are established.
