VISIT TO FENER GREEK PATRIARCHATE

The Mayor of Ahmetbey and the accompanying delegation visited the Archbishop of the Istanbul Orthodox Patriarchate, Patriarch Bartholomeos. Environmental engineer Gonca GÜNBATAR gave information to Patriarch Bartholomeos, who is known as the "green patriarch" because of his interest in environmental problems and his suggestions for solutions, about the work carried out by Ahmetbey Municipality in combating the climate crisis. During the visit, a painting made by students from Ahmetbey was presented as a gift in order to draw attention to “climate change”.
