On the 29th of July, the Municipality of Ramnicu Valcea organized the most important event of the year, the National Anthem Day. This year, the Ambassador of Cuba in Romania, tha Ambassador of Tunisia in Romania, the mayors of Dura (Palestine) and Ciocana-Chisinau (Moldova), the vice mayors of Krusevac (Serbia), Kromeriz (Czech Republic), Agios Nikolaos (Greece) celebrated together with the citizens of Ramnicu Valcea the first intonation of the Romanian National Anthem on the 29th of July, 1848, at Ramnicu Valcea.
The mayor and vice mayor of Ramnicu Valcea had the opportunity for exchange on the possibilities of strengthening decentralized cooperation in the socio-economic, cultural and environmental field, but also of opening new twinning and consolidation agreements for the existing ones.
