Partnership between the Local Administration and the Civil Society

Ramnicu Valcea applied for a project at the European Commission in order to obtain technical assistance. Thus, Ramnicu Valcea and Valcea Community Foundation are beneficiaries of technical assistance from the European Commission (DG Regio) through the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) in order to promote in Ramnicu Valcea the cohesion policy objectives and to improve the citizens participation in the local decisions' making process. The local administration is for the first time partner with a civil society organization for a deeper understanding of the local community's needs. This partnership helps the local administration communicate better with the citizens and facilitates the implementation of the local administration's projects that aims to improve the living conditions in Ramnicu Valcea and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
