Recycle event with children in Atatürk Kindergarten

Kirklareli Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate staff held an event at Atatürk Kindergarten with school-age children and recycling materials. In the event, children were told about the importance of recycling. Considering that awareness should be raised at an early age, K?rklareli Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate organizes activities to encourage children to recycle. Pencils containing sapling seeds were distributed to the children in the event we held in accordance with the theme of the European Local Democracy Week. Information was given on how to plant the seedlings in the ground when the pencils were finished. This event, in which we made an effort to mobilize the local communities, attracted great interest from the children.
