Muratpasa Environmental Festival, which turns its face to nature and opens its heart to the environment, begins in Antalya. Organized for the third time this year, the Muratpasa Environment Festival was held on May 12-15, including the World Climate Day, with the theme of "Climate and Everything". Mayor Ümit Uysal said that the Muratpasa Environment Festival finally aims to show that a life in harmony with nature is possible. “In scientific scenarios, the temperature in the world will increase by 1.5 degrees until 2030. Urgent action is needed to limit the increase. Otherwise, it is stated that the temperature increase in our world will reach 2 degrees and the difference of only + 0.5 degrees will affect the Mediterranean basin, which includes our country, 8 times more negatively than the rest of the world. One of the cities that will be most affected by this situation in our country is undoubtedly Antalya. One of the aims of our Environment Festival is to draw attention to the Future of the Mediterranean and the +0.5 alarm.”
