Muratpasa received the Environment Award for the 7th time

Muratpasa Mayor Ümit Uysal received the "Best Environmental Education Events" award, in which Muratpasa was appreciated for the 7th time in a row, at the National Blue Flag Award Ceremony held in Kocaeli Kandira Seyrek Beach. Mayor Uysal said, “We are receiving the award on behalf of our neighbors this year as well.”
Among the works that enabled Muratpasa Municipality to receive an award, the Climate Change Workshop under the title of +0.5 Future of the Mediterranean, seabed cleaning and inventory work of Kaleici Marina, a living sculpture made to raise awareness about recycling and waste within the scope of World Environment Day performance, environmentally friendly energy systems.
