Cascais Coastal Cleanup

We had 20 volunteer divers and 60 on land to implement two actions to mark the date. The divers, including Joana Balsemão, Councillor for the Environment at Cascais City Hall, were cleaning the seabed. Throughout the country there are hundreds of actions taking place with the support of the Blue Ocean Foundation. The aim is to alert and raise awareness among the population, inviting them to participate in various actions. In Cascais, coastal cleaning is part of everyday life in the municipality with volunteer actions held throughout the year, with the participation of hundreds of residents.
