Association of Irish Local Government
« Association of Irish Local Government » takes part in the European Local Democracy Week - a paneuropean event coordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe - as « Partner association »
The Association is the representative body for the elected Councillors in Ireland. It is a network of the elected members from the 34 County and City Councils throughout the Republic of Ireland. The AILG is the nominating body for the Councillors who comprise the Irish Delegation to the Council of Europe/Congress.
