Büyükçekmece Municipality signed the EU’s Covenant of Mayors for Climate&Energy to stop global climate change. It’s aimed to understand the impacts of climate change through the Sustainable Energy and Climate Plan, comply with the plan most properly, and convert this plan into rational policies.This project will continue until 2050 in compliance with this agreement. In this project, a common vision for climate will be produced. It commits us to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Therefore, we will prepare and send our sustainable energy and climate action plans within six years.
