LDA Edremit _ Environment and Climate _ "World Café"

On 15th October 2021, the newly established LDA Edremit is going to organise its first activity in the frame of the annual theme of European Local Democracy Week. With the participation of local associations involved in environmental issues, LDA Edremit with the support of ALDA representatives and the coordination of Edremit Municipality, a "World Café" activity will be organised after the signature ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding. we suggested focusing on the topic of the environment, dividing the participants into groups for discussion. The aim of this activity is to give the space for local organisations to give feedback on the LDA priorities and suggest specific action points for its future projects. Participants will be divided into small groups (around 5 people), coordinated by a facilitator (which can be identified among the local organisations working specifically on the environment, or among the Municipality personnel) and provide them with one big sheet of paper / a flipchart each and some markers to note down the ideas that arise from the discussion. The groups will be together for one hour, then they would all come together for a plenary session and expose the main ideas that emerged. The outputs of the "World Café" will be considered and enhanced in designing the priorities of LDA Edremit in the field of Environment.
