With more than 36,000 inhabitants, Esch-sur-Alzette is the second largest city in the Grand Duchy. As a university town located in the heart of the greater region, Esch is home to over 120 different nationalities. It is precisely this mix that is part of the DNA of our city. Seriously affected by the decline of the steel industry, Esch has redefined itself to become a city where life is good.
