Registration

The European Local Democracy Week (ELDW) is an initiative co-ordinated by the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. This paneuropean event  is targeted specifically at local and regional authorities (local communities, cities, municipalities, provinces, regions). The general aim is to promote and foster democratic participation at a local level throughout public initiatives which involve citizens.

“Local democracy: building trust. Co-designing local democracy together with citizens and practicing open government” is the leading theme of 2019.

To take part in the ELDW, please choose one of the two profiles bellow and fill-in the corresponding registration form in English or in French.

Those who already participated in the ELDW in the previous years can re-apply for the current edition by logging in to their personal account and following the relevant instructions!

The ASSOCIATIONS of local and regional authorities are invited to take part in the ELDW and encourage initiatives to be held in the communities.
